•V-Component - Can contain multiple values, such as status, quality, and other attributes. However, external connectors (connection points) have a singular connection only to one value. Values associated with external connectors can be modified by an established relationship, while values without external connectors can only be influenced by the activity of the NDDI's B-Component. The V-Component consists of:
• Values are analogous to attributes in UML, meaning they constitute the content of a container, which can be a memory cell or another data storage location. However, the data placed within it carries meaning, a name, and can have connectors to establish relationships. In other words, these values are not mere UML attributes; they represent small structures capable of fully describing status, relationships, and the value itself.
• A connector (connection point) is a part of a Component and possesses its own status. It contains the name of the second connector in the relationship. Two connectors together fully define a simple relationship, which emerges upon the definition of Connector values.
One NDDI can contain an unlimited number of V-Components (with the limitation being the device's memory size and 264 addressing).
Each component can contain an unlimited number of values.
Each value can contain an unlimited number of connectors.
